Our prime consideration is the safety of all our students, the majority of whom are seniors who are at higher risk from Covid-19 and other viruses.

Most venues still provide hand sanitiser for you to use before and after class when you enter and leave.

Mask-wearing in class is optional, however, you should note that your instructor and the majority of students will not be wearing a mask in class.

We maintain physical separation during the formal learning in class. Class sizes are limited to the space available in the room to exceed previously prescribed space per student requirements. Ventilation in the room is monitored with a CO2 meter.

Our no document-handling policy means no handouts are available at class. You can access these from the class website as a registered member or request them by email. As mentioned above, your instructor maintains a class roll so you are not required to sign in. When you are attending your very first class, your instructor will ask for your name and email address if they have not already been provided.

We have a no money-handling policy, so class fee payments need to be made remotely by internet banking, ATM transfer, or bank counter deposit.

Tai Chi for Life & Health is classified as a member-based business and the class is an indoor recreation facility under the public health regulations.
