When visitors leave comments on the site using the Contact Us we collect the data shown in the form, the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Cookies and Google Fonts
There is no facility to leave comments, edit or publish an article on our site. However, when you log in to this site we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. When you log out, the login cookies will be removed.
Google Fonts, which collect your IP address in breach of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), have been disabled and removed from this site.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site do not include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc) from other websites.
Who we share your data with
We do not share your information with any other person or entity.
How long we retain your data
For registered users, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, however, they cannot change their username. Website administrators can also see and edit that information. That information is retained while users remain registered.
All data is removed when a registered user is subsequently deregistered from which time the user no longer has access to the members section of the website. Deregistration is available at any time on request.
The information we hold on registered users, how we protect their information, and regulatory disclosure requirements, including provisions under the Privacy Act, are detailed in the registration email sent to them with their initial log in details.
